HEAR THE WILD CALL
Why Order of the wild exists
Order of the Wild began with a love of dogs and a belief that their wellbeing extends far beyond their food bowl and a daily walk.
We believe in taking a holistic approach, recognising that nutrition is only one part of the picture. Enrichment, fulfilment, play, learning and connection all play an important role in helping our dogs live happy, balanced lives.
That belief inspired us to create Order of the Wild. A place where carefully chosen treats, enriching activities and thoughtful resources come together to support dogs and the people who love them.
From the earliest days of puppyhood through to adulthood, our aim is simple: to help you create a life filled with adventure, curiosity and meaningful moments together.
Because life is better when it’s lived a little more wildly.
Connect and thrive.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Enrichment should be simple.
Treats should nourish.
Joy comes from connection.
We want to help you celebrate the small moments at every stage of your dog’s journey. Whether you’re welcoming a wildling home or creating magical moments with a lifelong companion, our hope is that Order of the Wild helps you savour the moments that matter most.
Behind Order of the wild.
From my family to yours
The joy a happy dog brings to your life is truly magical, and being able to share in any part of that journey is an honour. So, I thought I would share some of the fluffy tails that shaped me and brought Order of the wild to you.
Dogs have always been a part of my life
Before having dogs of my own, I was lucky enough to always have them as part of the family. From crawling around with a tail in my face, to both muddy footprints and pawprints through the house, I honestly can’t remember life without them
Growing up with dogs
I was never a stranger to my fluffy pillow suddenly rolling over, or to waking up with a rather wet face.
Looking back, some of my happiest memories are the ordinary ones. Family holidays, muddy walks, and always having a four-legged shadow close behind.
Paris (originally Patch): My first pup
I’m not entirely sure whether you could truly call her mine, but I was lucky enough to have a little say from the very beginning. Originally, I thought Patch would be wonderful a name for my little pup, until i was gently informed, 'That was no name for a poodle!' Although that was not my first choice, she gave me some of my fondest memories.
I see a bird
When we were about the same height, I proudly took her to obedience classes, only to be promptly dragged across a field in pursuit of a bird. Looking back, I think she had slightly different ideas about what “obedience” meant.
Peek-a-boo
We also seemed to be lucky enough to have door handles perfectly shaped for her paws, so it wasn’t unusual to suddenly see her head appear around the door, having let herself in for some fuss.
Dancing the night away
Now this one, I don't think she can take all the blame for. One fateful night while making noodles in the kitchen with her paws on my shoulders, we danced away the five minute wait. With a shimmy, a jiggle and a twist there was nothing stopping us. That was until one twist, left my foot in a very strange position. Our dance came to an abrupt end, with a sharp pain! later, I found out I'd managed to break my foot. Luckily, at the time, I didn't feel much pain, as it was drowned out by plenty of reassuring kisses.
She may not have always listened, but she taught me so much, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
STILL MAKING MEMORIES
Years later, not much has changed. Dogs are still at the centre of our lives.
Now I get to watch my own children grow up with that same friendship and love, creating memories with our dogs just as I did when I was young.
And seeing that bond begin all over again is something really special.
